01 · WHAT TR4CE OBSERVES
TR4CE reads Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) through a JSON-RPC provider and a Blockscout index. It records blocks, transactions, ERC-20 transfer events and, where a known contract proves it, swap events. Nothing is inferred from off-chain sentiment, social activity or price prediction.
02 · HOW WALLETS ENTER THE UNIVERSE
A wallet enters the index when someone tracks it, or when it appears repeatedly in observed activity around tracked tokens. Descriptive labels are applied from measurable behaviour: HIGH ACTIVITY, EARLY BUYER, LARGE POSITION, CONSISTENT HISTORY, NEW WALLET, HIGH TURNOVER, CONCENTRATED. TR4CE does not call any wallet smart money.
03 · TRANSFERS VERSUS SWAPS
A Transfer event only states that a balance moved between two addresses. A swap requires an interaction with a known router or pool contract in the same transaction. Until such evidence exists, a movement stays TRANSFER, RECEIVE, SEND or UNKNOWN.
04 · HOW BUY/SELL IS CLASSIFIED
BUY and SELL are assigned when a tracked wallet exchanges a quote asset against the token inside a recognised DEX interaction, with the direction taken from the wallet's own token delta. Absent that evidence the event carries no trade label, regardless of size.
05 · HOW NET FLOW IS CALCULATED
Net flow sums the value of inbound movement minus outbound movement for a wallet or token over the stated window, counting only events with a resolvable value. Events without a price contribute nothing rather than a guessed amount, so a net flow may read — even when activity exists.
06 · HOW POSITIONS ARE RECONSTRUCTED
A position is rebuilt by replaying observed transfers for a wallet and token. Activity that occurred before the wallet entered the index is absent, so reconstructed positions are a floor, not a verified balance sheet. PNL appears only when a full cost basis is derivable.
07 · T4 RATING METHODOLOGY
T4 is a summary of observed history depth, consistency, concentration and flow direction. It is withheld and displayed as NOT ENOUGH HISTORY until enough observed events exist to compute each input. The raw metrics matter more than the score, which is why the score is displayed last and small.
08 · REFRESH CADENCE
Chain height and connection state are read on each desk load. Transfers are pulled from the explorer index when a wallet is tracked or refreshed. Official stock token prices are requested when a token page is opened. The status strip shows the timestamp of the state you are looking at.
09 · WHAT TR4CE CANNOT KNOW
It cannot know intent, identity, off-chain custody, internal exchange transfers, or whether two addresses belong to one person. It cannot price a token with no source. It cannot see activity that never touched Robinhood Chain. Where it cannot know, it prints — rather than a number.
